Forget buying expensive equipment to concoct your cannabis oil at home. Chances are you already have everything you need. For an easy way to make loads of cannabis oil, just grab mother’s little helper (I’m not talking about a bottle of wine). That’s right, bust out the slow cooker!
1. Decarbing: The key first step
Before you even grab the Crock, grab the cookie sheet. To get the most out of your weed, you want to decarb it first. Grind it up and put an even layer on the sheet. Have your oven at 240°F and bake the herb for 30-40 minutes, or until it is dry and browner in color. After it has cooled, pulse in a food processor until coarsely ground.
2. Choosing your oil
The higher the fat content in your oil, the better it will absorb the cannabinoids and terpenes of your herb. Fat also helps your body absorb the constituents of cannabis, so choose the best oil for your needs. Coconut oil is a great choice, but Canola also works, and can be used in more dishes.
