With 25 states and the District of Columbia having legalized some form of marijuana, the so-called “Green Rush” is in full swing, with entrepreneurs from across the globe looking to launch businesses in the lucrative legal marijuana space.
In comparison to other industries, the percentage of women executives in cannabis is far higher than in all other U.S. businesses as a whole, an October report from Marijuana Business Daily found.
To foster growth and inclusion in the cannabis industry, MERRY JANE is teaming up with Wonder Women Tech to present “Trailblazing Cannabis” a conversation with leaders in the cannabis industry.
The panel will take place at 11:30 am on Saturday, July 16 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
The WWT Conference series features educational initiatives that highlight, educate, and celebrate women and diversity in all areas of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics). It aims to explore the next frontier in innovation/tech and spotlights female and diverse role models who have paved the way for future generations.
Thousands of entrepreneurs will gather for the two-day event consisting of panels, talks, keynotes and interactive breakout sessions.
MERRY JANE presents “Trailblazing Cannabis” a 30 minute Q&A on the innovative roles women play in the industry and females-powered startups fueling the legal marijuana space.
